Within the 1000 SES Filter, a four-stage decontamination process efficiently processes the surgical smoke plume:

  1. The pre-filter traps and eliminates gross particulate matter and casual fluid.
  2. The VLSI grade ULPA (Ultra Low Penetration Air) filter utilizes patented technology to capture particulates and micro-organisms down to 0.012 µm, boasting an impressive efficiency of 99.99995%. Each VLSI grade ULPA filter undergoes pre-testing and certification.
  3. The third stage features the highest grade virgin coal activated carbon, expertly absorbing odors and toxic gases produced during tissue cauterization. These harmful gases can pose a health risk to healthcare professionals subjected to prolonged exposure. The activated carbon selectively targets toxic organic gases while preserving water vapor and providing superior odor removal.
